This comic does something very hard to do without the reader ever knowing it: it manages to tell a complete story in only one scene without the use of flashbacks or narration. It is a super-hero story, but one with more humanity. It is more about family tragedy than heroics. Interestingly, this is as close to mainstream comics as I have yet to get, something I originally set out to do when I started my study of the art. Also, as a note, the hero's name is 'Ares' a variation of 'Aries', not the multiple of 'are'.
